He has held positions at the University of Peloponnese (Associate Professor), at the University of Patras (tenured Assistant Professor) and at the University of Thessaly (Lecturer). He was an external research fellow at the Max-Planck Institute of Economics (Entrepreneurship, Growth and Public Policy Group, Jena, Germany). He is experienced in distance learning as he has been a tutor of Economic Analysis and Policy and of Economics for Managers (MBA) at the Hellenic Open University. He has taught postgraduate courses in Microeconomic Analysis, Industrial Organization, Managerial Economics, International Trade, Economics for Public Management, and Regional and Local Development.
